Are we seeing any VP being walked out?

Noone is going to buy an overinflated (share value wise) company with dying membership. The cost to buy Molina in terms of share price would be astronomical and then the overhaul to get members again and increase membership again...astronomical.

Excuse you poster. If you listen to the earnings call then you would have heard this exact quote.."As we've often said that rate advocacy is a very important part of this business and we and the other participants in Ohio work with the state, got a rate increase in mid 2019 and then got a very significant rate increase for 1/1/2020 going forward". Membership itself is down but they are predicting more members this year and I could see that happening because of the economy in the shift that the economy is about to experience from loss of jobs. Non-farm payroll numbers are already starting to come in under the estimates and the levels where they need to be. Which means we're starting to see more people file unemployment claims. So yes membership went down but we got the rate increases to help make up for it

Universal American dropped incompetent NY leadership on Molina. Nothing will ever change for New York staff.

NY membership hasn’t grown in years. Dr Cowart was a better leader. At least he cared about staff.

Excuse me poster I am living it here in Ohio. Membership down. Evicore F ing it up. State Ohio on us over TAT and now errors. We see a handful of Marketplace(you know our saving grace ). Buckeye and Caresource have it wrapped up it a nice bow and packaging .... even when we get auto assigned they jump ship to our competitors.

Agree...with Illinois poster...if anything they are getting bigger. People please do yourself a favor and research sh– before you believe it on here. Coming for info is fine but buying it is another level. If you "heard" the 2020 Honda Pilot was a great car from friends, family, or who ever...would you run straight to the dealership and just buy it with out one test drive, article read, review read? Hell no you wouldn't. So why wouldn't the same apply to this board? If you really want to get under the hood of a company do yourself a favor and learn to read balance sheets, financial statements, earnings reports, P/E ratio, etc. Not saying that to be smartass either - seriously allows u to see where a company has been and is going.
