Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Dublin office closure

Sounds like this will be announced March 15th. “Relocation” offers will be made to key people so they can work from an approved office location

I hope people saw this coming; Dublin office has been on the blocks for a few years. Taxes are super high for companies and there has been no growth for several years. Best of luck.

DO NOT RELOCATE!!! I know someone who relocated when working for First Data. They relocated their entire life to stay employed with the company. Then they were laid off from their relocated less than a year later.

I know that FB is completely against remote working remotely. After KKR brought him into FD the first thing he did was eliminate those positions and force people into offices. Has this been communicated to all Fiserv staff?

Relocation - you'd better buy into it if you want to remain - why? - with Fiser,,,,eh, First Data. I had one and it was unworkable so that was that. No options really, no negotiation. Whammo. So reclocate with care but relocate to another company is better.
