IT must really s—. There is some new punk looking to take your job daily. Kind of like a virus you do not see. More life in being a union garbage man.

It seems that simply not replacing the folks who have quit over the past year was easier than planning more cuts.

Looks like false rumor. February is gone. No one that I know was let go yet ...

Late February / early March have come and gone and there were no cuts and there continues to be no shortage of work. Just like the last 20 "rumored cuts" posts since the layoffs.

It is so obvious this site is full of trolls it's not even funny. Just a bunch if fake news propogators jacking each other off.

Well let me me tell you this....every time I've seen it posted or rumored that GM is cutting jobs it has happened. So I don't believe it's a ploy to scare the current GMers.

You are a total fool if you believe GM takes care of their employees with respect and dignity.

I can confirm it will occur this year, yes. It will be significant, not like the minor round we just had in 2019. My suggestion is to get your savings in order. Put six to twelve months of reserves in the bank. Have a GM unemployment fund, as if you don't, this will be on you when you actually need one.

Don't ask me for proof. By the time you need proof, it will already be too late. I honestly care not, beyond this post. I've set myself up for what is coming.

If anyone believes these posts they may as well be certifiably disabled. These posts are always wrong, always. There is always someone here saying cuts are around the corner because this is an anonymous internet forum and general motors is a huge company, and many groups have an interest in contributing to GM workers stress levels by posting fake news about layoffs. Don't believe the lies. Have a good day.
