Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

WINMQ now at 12 cents OTC

Give TT a bonus!

WINMQ now at 12 cents OTC (after being delisted last year), the company is worth less than $5 million dollars, yes sir he really has turned the company around in the 5 years since he became CEO! LOL!

How many billions of dollars was the company supposedly worth when TT took over? The stock was how high when he took over? And the BOD (laughing out loud) has the upmost confidence that the LR 5 - who brought the company into this mess - can suddenly bring the company out of it???

The company needs to be gutted from all the pathetic leadership (including that IT clown in Twinsburg) and if they bring in some people who won't get bonuses for losing money (I know, it is the American way to give a CEO a bonus for losing money).

Here's looking forward to hopefully soon when the LR 5 are jettisoned, and all the other rotting management goes with them, parts of the company will be sold off and maybe, maybe those parts can do better than now.

What a nightmare the LR 5 has become. Beware when they come to your telecom company in the future!

I don’t even think she’s worked for the company for quite some time.

Move on.

There's actually people still around that haven't been laid off that actually thinks TT actually cares about the performance of Windstream? Just put down the crackpipe, this uniti scheme these people cooked up. They're set for life, this fake lawsuit between win and Uniti will be settled. Must admit, this was a pretty impressive heist.

'For WIN the cost of doing business has exceeded our income. With that said shares are worth less that the total value of the company.'

Too bad the salary of the CEO wasn't tied directly to the performance of the company. If the results from the most recent quarter was worse than last year's same quarter, then no salary for the CEO until a profit is turned. Then TT would actually have to figure how to do his job!

"Sounds like a fortune 500 company to me."

Adjusting for Chapter 11 - more like a Fortune .005 company anymore.

We are at 13 cents a share today, up 18% according to Yahoo Finance.

LOL, I agree we are no where near fortune 500.

I have seen a few recent articles about WS and they STILL identify themselves as a fortune 500 company. Shares at .12 cents.. Sounds like a fortune 500 company to me.

When you file for bankruptcy you hit the financial reset button. Any debt due prior is re-negotiated for pennies on the dollar. Stocks are securities that represent an ownership share in a company. For companies, issuing stock is a way to raise money to grow and invest in their business. For investors, stocks are a way to grow their money and outpace inflation over time.

For WIN the cost of doing business has exceeded our income. With that said shares are worth less that the total value of the company.

Why would the stockholders not get stock in the new company?

I admittedly know nothing about stocks. I thought the shareholders owned the company. Can anyone with more knowledge explain how they can just nullify the stock and reissue new stock. Seems like a massive fraud. If they can why would anyone trust them with their money and buy the new stock?

WINMQ is not worth anything, even OTC, you guys keep trying to track this but Windstream has already asked the bankruptcy court to nullify all common stock, they'll reissue new stock to new buyers when they emerge.

Stock is worthless. If you follow all of these traders and links from seeking alpha you will see that the tide has turned in the favor of Uniti, they are way up this week. WINMQ is down 30% today and Judge, mediators, and other are meeting this week in NY ahead of the bankruptcy proceeding. WINMQ will become delisted sometime in the next 2 weeks and will be worth ZERO!

The latest information released today shows zero for the old shareholders as part of the final bankruptcy plan under consideration now.

New stock will be issued to creditors and the old WINMQ stock canceled.

"12 cents OTC" is more than it'll be worth in 2 months.
