Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

why?

Why is there such a division between the managers and union employees? Seriously, several managers are going through the same thing as union personnel. Not every manager is a jerk who is after people to promote themselves. Quit generalizing. There are shady employees, doesn’t matter if they are union or management. It is what it is.

Because management spent the last couple years writing people up for the stupidest little sh– to fill their FTX quotas. All managers are a– hats.

I get it. Managers are people too. But the last two years changes everything. They could have said then I’m going back to my box etc. I’m not doing this silly stuff to my coworkers. But they sold out to hang on to their little piece of the action.

As railroad employees, we are in a group that seems to be willing to do or put up with a little more B.S. weather, etc. for a bit more pay than the average person. Managers and wanna be managers tend to take it to extreme. There seems to be absolutely nothing they won’t do or say for a “nickel” or an “attaboy”.

The division is started from the top of the company and pushed down to the bottom. Unfortunately the omt and myos take the brunt of the crew’s anger because they interact with them daily
