COVID-19 and UTI's lack of preparedness...

It's interesting how UTI is not taking the recommended steps to have employees work from home or closing any campuses. Does that mean they do not value the health and well being of their staff and/or students?

UTI isnt perfect. But they do try. I'm actually working my last few days there. And they are trying their best to keep employees on 40hr checks. At least at my location.
They have much room for improvement, but as far as it goes for a job, they do try.
It's for profit. So they are seperate from state style schools.

Seems like we should all be grateful we have jobs unlike so many who are losing them during this time. We won’t have a school (jobs!) if we don’t have revenue. Instead of whining, help! It’s for the students, not the VPs. If you hate your job - or UTI - go somewhere else and be happy.

Hurry up boys we need your subject matter expertise on film so we fat cats can claim it as our own.
I personally think the VP’s should do it!!!!
They are obviously the most valuable employees at UTI!!! Enough said!

Don’t fall for the hurry up and get those classes recorded BS. That’s just the Kramer Clowns pushing to fill the pockets of the incompetent. Subject matter experts!!! Listen to me!!!!! As soon as you are done recording, you will be standing in the unemployment line. Trust me, these slobs will not pay us to fix training aids. They don’t care about employees as you have clearly seen by your merit increases. Think about it guys, just think about those piss poor raises you’ve received. Do you really want your subject matter expertise on film so they can claim it as their own? F them and their abundance of VP fat cat’s. Make them pay up!!!

Oh, you know how management is with their hourly employees. Ever since t
enrollments have been down and money is tight, their micromanaging has increased. You can't sneak up on your employees to make sure they're really working if they're at home.

Money, until the very end. Either that ir senior leadership is too incompetent to shot it down and do the right thing.
Riddle me this, how is new leadership more incompetent than the old guard that is gone?

Complete chaos at my campus. Students aren’t learning a thing. 200 plus are rumored to have jumped ship and remaining students are planing something with news media. Students are rumored to have contacted the media and have pictures of 100 plus students working in lab and LRC. Apparently, pictures were also taken of the crowded hallways, touch screen scan tools and lab computers that UTI says are being disinfected in accordance with CDC guidelines.

That is exactly true. Poor decision making by the senior leadership. Students and staff are very concerned and they seem to not have a care in the world.
