Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Over 7 thousand cases and counting

We are up to 7000 cases and still the testing is limited. We need masks, gloves, and other precautions to be taken. There were only 2000 cases yesterday. Our stores are cesspools and as much as we want to see our selves as health care workers we are not. We are a gas station with a pharmacy (not gas pumps). How many cvs employees will die because of corporate greed? Of course corporate will say it’s because we want to be open for the patient but we all know it’s because we are making budget by thousands of dollars a day. No amount of money is worth putting my family at risk of me bringing it home to them. You will be contagious before you ever show symptoms. Keep that in mind.

We are almost to 10500 infections today. Right now we are 2 weeks behind Italy. They have done more to stop the spread. I need masks for my employees over 65. I cannot get them...I have 4....

Rx drive through is all that should be open. Front store personnel, especially those over 60, should not have to report to work during this pandemic.

I care for my elderly grandma who raised me. I love my manager and I need my job but I don’t think it is worth her life. The government is offering a stimulus and if it goes through I am quitting.
