We do deserve hazard pay. Unlike Dr, nurses and EMTs that’s their job. As a cashier and making $12/hr, I didn’t sign up for a job knowing that I would definitely be exposed to a k–ler virus.

Im an id–t for wanting hazard pay huh? You realize how much work I have to do for less than $12/hr? Less than half of what most RN's make?? I am almost just as close to the patients as nurses and other front line workers. I deal with customers coughing and sneezing in my face. I deal with them yelling at me over the phone and in person. I deserve hazard pay just as much as they do.

How many health care professionals have to do paperwork to wear a mask that is not even provided?

@1lsd+143KQVsQ I was sick with the symptoms of
Coronavirus 3 weeks ago. I called and text me DL, saying I could not go to work because I could not breath and a Dr. had written me out. I got no text or call in return. I could not get overtime approved for my 24 hour store so that I could be out. I worked. I had to. And as far as gloves and masks. We cannot get anything in that is out of stock at our distribution centers and through our cardinal distribution center. You are a joke trying to defend the indefensible. STFU upper management. Your HUB tasks don’t protect people if the items are not in stock. It’s called a national shortage for a reason. You are ignorant of what is really going on if you think it is that easy. Upper management always blames others when things go wrong at CVS and now SM and PM are to blame. Now experts are think that coronavirus causes Lea long term heart problems...

Hey Mr FAQ get a f—ing clue people are walking off the job. $12 bucks an hour to put you and your family at risk to man stores that have been gutted tons of out of stocks because SICK people constantly coming in coughing and sneezing on employees as well as product. This isn’t oh it’s busy it’s Xmas season so s— it up a deal with it time there are people getting seriously sick government shutting down everything but us grocery stores and gas stations. Oh might I say clueless Walmart is paying its people a hazard or such bonus. By the way if you are in a so call field leadership position maybe you and your invisible peers should visit stores NOW and spend some quality time and see the sh– show we are dealing with.

DL’s keep defending the poor leadership you all have. Its sad and you are disgraceful. You are all afraid for your jobs so you say nothing to protect your people. Karma is coming to the horrendous DL leadership.

This petition is a result of bad leadership within this technicians store and for the leaders of the other 1700 colleagues who signed it. They have kept you in the dark. I am sorry for you all who work under these horrible leaders and who have put you in this stressful situation.

It is unfortunate because the company sent FAQs to address almost all of this person’s grievances via the Hub over two weeks ago. The leaders failed to print or share this info With their teams. I’m not surprised that this is coming from a tech and it is a Pharmacy leader who owns that failure.

The complaint about not having gloves by a pharmacy tech is embarrassing.
Not because we don’t have them, but because the pharmacy team is too ignorant to know that they are available through store supplies or can be ordered through cardinal or whoever your OV is for your region. They can then be store supplied. Instead your leaders have been blaming the warehouse that they are out or that the company only gives 5 overrides. Much easier to blame others than to be a problem solver.

Cleaning wipes have been available from the warehouse for weeks. It is the failure of the store’s leadership to set some aside before they hit the sales floor for store use. In addition, cart wipes have been available and should have been used as an alternative. Again problem solving.

Crisis pay? You’re kidding right? I wonder how police, nurses, and other real heath care workers would feel about that one. Absurd.

I agree that the company is taking an irresponsible approach as for as social distancing policy, but the grievances in the petition do not hold water. Especially since all of the FAQs and the near daily updates can be researched by date all the way back to the beginning of February. Shame on these “leaders”. You are ruining your colleagues and this company.

Pretty dumb expectation. Actual front line people such as nurses, emergency services etc don’t receive hazard pay or “crisis pay”. I cannot Believe we have this many id–ts working in our stores.
