I work for Macys and they are doing their best to keep customers and employees safe! They have kept all their employees in the loop as to what to expect, and we are being treated fairly!
We are not closing, looking forward to returning to my job!

lol-someone drank the cool aid!
Just came here to say lol
To the original poster, I hope when you go back to work the first thing your HR department does is make you take a d–g test. I'm not sure what you're on, but obviously you've lost all touch with reality. Macy's was struggling to survive before this all started, do you really think this will enable them to continue to function without further cuts?
If no one is buying merchandise the store is not completing its basic function. With no buying no cash flow. No cash flow equals no profit. No profit over a short time causes no debts to be paid. Do you see where this is going? No employees needed if no money to pay them and no merchandise sold . Bankruptcy or even a quicker death of any company. Why do you think the managers are working? Maybe a last grasp at trying to save a dead company that does not recognize its demise is already written.
We can pray and hope we all are saved but this economic dive has a strong undertow and a lot are going down. Pray and get the will to survive.
Positive people will hope.
Negative people will despair.
OK Keep drinking the macys kool-aid! I'm glad i got out before all this sh– storm started.

Yes indeed it is important to stay positive, however it is unrealistic to think EVERYONE will still have their jobs. Good luck to all my co-workers! and be well.
I work for Macy’s, as a full time employee and they are doing the same as Disney Land and World, so you all need to stop listening to stupid uninformed links like this one. See you at Macy’s when we reopen after the virus situation changes.
