I have not seen any announcements regarding change of policy for PTO. If I remember the Employee Handbook correctly, I don't think "sick leave" outside of having to take Disability (short-term or long-term) is covered. I'm not an HR expert, but I suppose that if you were hospitalized for an extended period, pay would be covered by the standard Short-Term Disability Insurance (and any "enhancements" to it you've purchased through the Health Plan). It's probably safe to assume that this would be like any other corporations' standard practices - this stuff is pretty boiler-plate across the board.
