Hospitality vertical people that sold, designed and supported phone systems and WiFi for hotels. But now told we can sell some of what they did. Strategic MRR products is the focus, which means 20 people will get paid if we sell anything on this stuff too. Training supposedly coming soon. on what, again see previous clear as mud direction. Let’s get rid of the SMEs and give it to us to try and sell. Is this were our quota goes up again Another great move to cut costs. Wait, we were told it cost more to run this group versus what is sold. We were also told on a team call renewals are still taking place. Renew what? The belief Windstream will continue taking their money without the value of the people they let go? They just want to keep collecting that money but act like there is all this opportunity for us all to sell to. It’s all about the money and nothing about the value people’s knowledge bring. At some point collections and marketing department will also be able sell SDWAN and strategic products. Windstream keeps making a bad name for themselves in the industry. Are there any hotels open right now?
I wasn't even looking for a job. Been here 25 years and magically one came to me and for $15,000 more. It was most certainly a big stress reliever. Good Luck to all of the folks left.
