Also happened to positions held at OKC corporate locations. Groups of us taken at a time into meetings with management and HR. Handed a piece of paper with little on it, told the time is unpaid unless we want to use acured vacation and to gather our things and leave. That our access would be turned off as well as our badges. And a decision will be made by April 10th as to our status.
This after a week that started with the possibility of sending us home with our computers and a vpn access to work from home. With promises we'd be paid if sent home by the company due to COVID-19, while ending the week with furloughing most of the company.

Using the term furloughed means no severence package to save Hertz money.
Management will get paid off in two weeks. Many locations have twice as many as they need, so as an example if you have 10 managers five will be let go

Every location had to lay off 80-90 percent of the workers due to no business. CEO asking help from government to keep company a float. Does not look good to come back on April 10. Probably will be longer and managers will probably be The next ones to go if things keep going the way they are going

I’m Not one of the ones laid off yet, but I will start looking. Have no faith in the company. If the company can’t even survive one month, it is not financially stable .

Me too in Indianapolis. Everyone but managers got furloughed. We received a paper that said the furlough is indefinite, but we will be updated April 10th and we were encouraged to apply for unemployment.
