Saw this article about TARGET, they are raising their employees hourly rate by $2 per hour, and providing bonuses. I know our major regional grocer is taking similar action for its employees as well...So, Mark, if us Harmon, Bed Bath, and Buy Buy Baby employees are putting our health, and well being on the line, and considered “essential” during this time of crisis, what are you going to do for us? 2/3 of the company is either working from home, or home with pay while their stores are closed, either by their local government, or you deeming their locations “non-Essential”. How is that justifiable? Shouldn’t those of us now thrown into the ranks of “front line” employees during this pandemic be compensated? Extra PTO when some of us inevitably fall ill with Covid-19? Waive our ridiculously high insurance deductible? Actually pay for our treatment? Temporary increases to our hourly rates? This company’s actions during this global health crisis are a grotesque example of corporate greed, and negligence. Kudos to Target, Wal-Mart, and Amazon who are all taking initiatives to take care of their people during these frightening times.

MT is not going to show any kid of appreciation except for some nice, cheap words on yet another video where he babbles for 6.5 minutes without actually saying anything. What the F is the company paying him for?
MT should have at stayed at Target! BBB is not Target and never will be. If he was so wonderful like they claim he is, why did they let him go so easily? HMMMMM Target seems to be doing just fine without him. Another person all about GREED!!! Shame on him and All the higher ups in corp. Same old people are still running corp. Smh
With so many other retailers hiring thousands of people immediately, now is a good time to go to one of those retailers that treat their employees like they should be treated. Some are even unionized, can you imagine working for a union company! I would think if you show them how great an employee you are they would keep you after all this is over.
There are thousands of us on the front lines within the stores that need to be thought of and rewarded for putting our lives at risk. District staff suggesting you're lucky to have a job and not be laid off. If we end up dead or overwhelmed with thousands in medical debt will we be considered so lucky?
We're allegedly open for essential products but customers are buying towels, ironing supplies, beauty items and organization. No one is buying cleaning and health items because we're sold out. They need to consider a profit sharing opportunity or immediate bonus to those actually interacting with this potentially deadly virus.
Totally agree! We employees at the closed stores are working as they make us feel like we have to and are afraid of retaliation especially Dept Supervisors, Full timers and Assistant Managers!! This is not right!
