Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

No News?

What happened to that systematic text message that was supposed to go out Monday?

The only thing sales got was their car allowance cut away.

What's next?

Offshore teams had to cut people, well hello it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see if you're going to need 3 or 4 people to do the job of 1 American worker then not only are you not saving money but you're getting c-appy quality work, duh!!!! Way to go Xerox for those brilliant cost saving plans.

Not sure how this low end B405 machine can prop up Xerox revenue for a month. Also, this machine is made in FX Vietnam and they are also having problem meeting the normal demand not to mention any upside in demand (with all the supply chain disruption as most material are from China), plus a 6 weeks lead-time to Indy.

So your saying all those B405's sales for home offices won't save jobs? Well layoffs should have happened by now. In May the country will start opening back up and if you make it another month I'm sure you'll be fine. To poster comment below about 1q numbers, that should be an interesting reaction from Xerox how to make up loss $$

In early February, there was a lay-off planned for April, with budget set aside. However, with the pandemic, several plans had been change, such as the end of HP acquisition. In order to save cash urgently needed to get the company going, the planned lay-off may have been changed. Watch out for the Q1 numbers next Tuesday which will be very bad, to confirm this.
