The Taylor families vanity project of personally financing a half billion dollar MLS soccer team for the acclaim that would come with being the rare female majority owned sports franchises, has come back to bite them in the backside. And any company with an extra half billion dollars laying around to purchase a professional sports team could surely have compensated their loyal, hardworking employees better. Hubris is always followed by comeuppance.
