Thread regarding Norfolk Southern Corp. layoffs

Safety first

I hurt my back today. Out for two weeks. Doctor says he can't see anything. We are gonna take it two weeks at a time until we figure this thing out. He has me on light duty. Darn the luck. General forman took it better than expected. He actually seemed like he cared for my injury lol

If you’re Really having an issue you did the right thing. Don’t listen to the supervisors on this site. They absolutely (DO NOT) have your best interest at hand.. they have been trained to dehumanize you as a person and to see you more as property. good luck with your injury and hopefully it’s not a life long problem... don’t hesitate to seek legal assistance on this matter as well.

Those that failed to perform the duties that they were hired and trained for always do the most complaining.
NS has always been concerned for the safety and welfare of it's employees. I worked 32 years for NS and I've seen the best of people and the worst of people. There has always been a radical element. They came to NS, were paid excellent rates. Yet they always b–ched about how hard there life was on the RR.
When I encountered these id–ts. My advice was simple. QUIT

If you are Not a Yesman then run with it. Take them for all its worth.if not you will be a target until they find a lame reason to walk you off permanently

You will be shunned now. This stain will haunt you until you are fired.
