Very sorry for those affected. Once again, good people let go. No rhyme or reason. "Wrong desk at the wrong time." Twelve years of job insecurity wears you down.

  • and yet a new VP of logistics recently hired from Honda. (how many millions did that cost?) Typical Cat. Invert that management pyramid a little more. Continue to over burden the worker bees. Let mid-careers go and downgrade jobs, only to fill with inexperienced youth. It's the Caterpillar way!

Of course, no number is given about the layoffs until now, so-called global but just in the US so far it seems. They can’t assume numbers? The rest of the world will follow I guess. Unless I missed something.
