Work Slowdown!
As I’ve said before the only way to deal with the bleak existence that is working for this company is to leverage your ework to build your career, resume and future. Unless your 5 years from retirement where it really doesn’t matter just build your skills, develop a LinkedIn presence and start working in your next move. Or develop a side hustle. You have tons of time during the week if you’re in claims or some other mindless role. Make the most of it.
But we need to do something. It is our moral responsibility because we all know what is going on.
@ndv+14Kq8IPr - EXACTLY Right; if you think about it, once you are at the tail end of your career, you can promise the world in a turnaround and quickly exit the scene due to retirement one day; extract the cash from the company, while leaving S/Hs with a M2M loss.
You can call AiG and they will help you find another job.
there is no outrage, just complacency. no one cares anymore. it is a zombie company where you just do what you have to do to get by until the economy opens back up. there is no hope for aig long term. just another ceo that promised to turn aig around, like all of the others since the bail out, but all they really want is a get rich quick scam.
the board doesn't care, the media doesn't care, the oversight committees don't care so neither do the employees. most are just collecting a check because there is no place else to go right now.
you can see it in this message board, its just same the same thing day after day week after week.
