I know that we are all facing imminent Layoffs but I am happy to acknowledge that my chances are relatively low and the HES department managers are addressing the issues with us in a very professional, transparent manner and are letting us know information as soon as it is available to them. Although I as well as many of our coworkers have a chance of departing soon, I cannot overemphasize how fortunate I am to have worked with such a great team of professionals. I have no doubt at all that I will find work in some form of industry when this is all over based on the education and experience that I have gained as a part of the great Chevron HES team. Thanks for the opportunity, just hope it's not goodbye soon.

Interesting to know that HSE is professional at communicating internally...because they are the least impressive bunch of "certified" talkers who have been proven totally inept and inexperienced during this COVID-19 "crisis"!
You guys are worthless
Nice post @doj. I said the same thing too back in 2016. I was optimist and appreciative for my job, until the company pulled the rug from under me and kept many incompetent and useless people on the payroll. Keep up that optimistic attitude, if you can, when they arbitrarily let you go. You'll realize there’s no rhyme or reason when the company is in total chaos.
What nonsense.
Very nice to hear an appreciative employee tout a great company. I too am blessed as an Ops person and will take everything I've gained and learned with me if I am asked to leave.
