florida had furloughs, 1st wave was done a few weeks ago, 2nd wave happened this week. i dont think anyone should feel safe at the moment. Revenue is down.and the automation plan also playing a role too, furloughed employee's buys them time to transfer overseas.Sad situation everyone needs their job more than ever right now .

Hundreds of people (200-300) were furloughed or laid off in this event. Business areas that are not generating revenue, have lost revenue or are now unprofitable due to the pandemic may be further impacted. “We keep our staff where the work is.” Business units that don’t generate revenue directly (finance, law, IT, etc.) may see further consolidations or outsourcing. Given the instability—and, quite frankly, the fact that this pandemic will get worse before it gets better—of the situation, more layoffs will be required. Network & Financial Management was hardly impacted (only one position elimination of a VP who was being forced out anyway) because it is so profitable.

I understand this is the first wave. I've been told that there will be deeper layoffs in 90 days and the Atlanta offices will be affected.

In regards to Queensbury, they were people that had been transitioned to work from home during the pandemic.
