What are the plans for the annual Tax Professionals meet up? Delayed? Cancelled? And what about the fate of the Events staff that plan and administer it?

It may be challenging to engage attendees with a virtual format and have successful interactions with many attendees.
They will go with a virtual conference and are working towards seeing how that can be accomplished. A delay makes little sense, since they would delay it into Q1, tax customers are knee deep into the season. They will look to provide a credit to all prepaid customers towards 2021, and refund the others. Interesting question about event staff, but my guess is that there may be some impact in regards to layoffs, but the new normal will require a new way of thinking and customer engagement. Many of them will still be needed to put on virtual conferences, and the key is going to be how to engage attendees. You will see a lot more swag provided, so someone needs to do that stuff.
