If HR can’t get a hold of you, you’re never laid off. Also turn off teams and don’t respond to any emails.

What if tomorrow you need a reference for the next employer or the hiring manager will call your ex Hall boss? Think of tomorrow
You are all kinds of stupid original poster. But I think this was just a trolling post anyway.
Yeah, great advice mo–n. They’d just fire you for failure to report. Then no package or unemployment. id–t.
they can't fire you if they can't find you......... hide
When I was working at Baker Hughes 20plus years ago a bunch of people found out they were laid off when they returned from lunch one day and their ID badges no longer functioned to open the front gate. The on duty security guard told them it must be a glitch and to drive over to the security office to get a replacement ID card. When the employees arrived at the security office HR was waiting for them.
We should have fired him last year
Can you claim harassment ?
George Costanza, is that you?
They can simply turn off your access. I know of other companies where people have found out they were gone that way.
Just don’t quit and they can’t lay you off
This is like saying coronavirus outbreak never happened because you don't watch the news. LOL
