July 1st starts new era at several xbs cores. What do you think is going to happen?

We don't have VPs, but rather directors of sales. Any word on what might happen to those roles?
This poster is referring to end of XBS VP team. Several protected core executive staff will be no more and additional consolidation will continue.
It’s absolutely astounding the weird trends on here. If even half of what I read here was true, everyone in XBS would have somehow been laid off twice already. Of those that had only been laid off once, they would somehow be paid to lose Xerox money. Mostly because the posters here know that... The CEO? He’s not just your usual suit, chasing the market at the peril of labor (like a whole host of other companies), he’s actually insane. He’s trying to personally insult these posters and their families. He’s busy finding ways to make the company lose money to spite those otherwise perfect employees who surely were making the company roughly $1bil a year, each, until new management came in and threw a tantrum in their office to make them stop.
Anyway, I heard they’re laying off 40,000 employees between now and Friday. This is confirmed. Those rotten “Zerox” execs!!1 Stay safe everyone!

But really - Xerox isn’t in a great place, but I’d be amazed that some folks here can function day to day at any publicly traded company. Welcome to the new gilded age: labor doesn’t get a say here, and the limp wailing here only furthers division amongst your peers. Stick to facts when you can, and don’t embellish your rumors. Don’t bellyache here - It’s bad for you, it’s bad for us.
As more and more people have discovered this site, it's gotten less reliable. That's going to be the nature of an anonymous, bot-moderated site like this. It's not the site's fault; they cannot possible vet any of the information on this site, nor its users.
You have to take posts with a grain of salt here. If you don't like the content, leave. It's really that simple. Yes, many people use this site as a sounding board for their frustrations, but I can't blame them. I've done that myself.
Did the board self destruct, or did it have help?
This site used to be a somewhat reliable source of layoff rumors. Now it's all speculation and complaints by people no longer at Xerox. There's a place for that, but this isn't it.

First wave of sales RIFs happening at some XBS cores on Monday. Yes, Monday.
XBS Senior VP's "big salaries" are being eradicated. It's a spiral effect down thru the core levels. Core VP's, directors will follow. Those being protected will be losing that shield soon. Regionalized.

Production tigers are getting involved.. those reps are gone once they have the forecast. They're transitioning from software to IT services. Any reps that have a history of under plan will be put on a plan. No more net new business development without results. Xerox won't stand for it like xbs did.
