At least 3 of us so far and we compared severance and from what we can tell better than 2016. No love lost or hard feelings. It’s the biz.

Ok. Who else got the email today with the Survey Monkey? Survey on whether you’d prefer layoffs of some or pay reductions including bonus/LTI forfeitures for 2020 and 2021 in weather the storm. Pay reductions up to 15%. No pay cuts for top leadership, however. Personally, I’d rather see layoffs, especially in Land group. Us safety folks are the heart of the organization. Plus, I am not willing to take a pay cut. I’m too valuable.
Has there been any layoffs in Spring? How’s everyone down there feeling? Are we close to something happening? I’m feeling nervous. I haven’t saved much of my bonuses over the years, but I have a lot of toys to play with....

Rumors? Go seen the WARN website for yourself. I seent it right in that site. I think my days are numbered. If i get laid off and stuff this may finally be the chance to get my old lady to weigh less than 6 bills. If I can’t afford the chicken buckets from Cluckers then she is sure to drop some lb’s to fit in that two piece.
Stop spreading stupid rumors. The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988 (the "WARN Act") is only triggered when over 500 employees are impacted. That happened in 2016, and instead of giving 60 days notice, SWN gave 60 days pay.
Call on Wednesday? Will WARN be announced before or at call? Even though Our company has not used WARN in past doesn’t mean we are clear for it in 2020.
Previous poster, you are almost spot on. You’ll all notice tomorrow on the Zoom call that I’m back to getting my $200 haircuts, although people in my social circle have these amenities on staff. But I did get a $200 haircut and it looks to be in line with past layoff week haircuts. Was on an online church service just now when my work phone chimed. An interesting email thread from a management discussion on WARN notice. Expect something about it.
I know it’s hard to know which posts are legit. Hoping some of my work friends see this post. Expect an email next week about the “new” changes for us. This is not about office re-openings rather something else that is looming on our horizon. Wish I could share more so good weekend all!
Our CEO is why layoffs never happen - said no one ever!
Was checking about layoffs. Seems like it happens. Also a certain c-suite leader who dons overly starched shirts can’t keep it up as defined by the stock market. And other leaders who yee-haw and have tea and biscuits can relate to the same too. Need to get a leader who can keep raise and keep it up on the stock market! If that’s possible then layoffs are not needed.
Amen sister! I hear ya. Same here. I will collect my SWN paycheck from home until I feel safe. I will use their laptop and phone to work and make posts like this to let others know too. Has anyone heard about others here in Houston being laid off this week. I can not find people in the email directory that were here last week. Good luck and don’t cough around me sister!
Personally, I believe none of us will come back to the office for months, and I won’t even if they tell me to. I’m entitled to a pay check and I’ll just sue them if they force me to. I am nervous about this virus and I’ll use that as a way to not get fired and stuff. If I ever hear anyone cough it will be lawsuit central.
We are not going to merge with anyone in these market conditions. We will be bought by a private equity group cause our CEO can not get it up, meaning the stock price over $3 and change. Been stuck at this price point WAY to long or short in his case. No layoffs other than clearing out the c-suite will happen.
When we merge with someone (example Range Resources) will layoffs happening more to them or us. It’s about time!
Layoffs? How many? Which divisions? Young? Old? Races? Wow. Didn’t seent this coming? We was supposed to be West Virginia’s community partner. Natural gas is the future in these parts and stuff.
