Tomorrow. Patience people.
Yea Nordstrom is very top heavy, to the extent there are “managers” with a single direct report. If there’s any shortage it’s in actual workers at the bottom of the org charts. Every manager should have 10 or more employees, such is the case at other companies.
Hey anon, from my experience, usually it’s “n”, but sometimes it’s “e”. These chads always deliver the goods.
Can’t just cut worker-bees, though. Got to be some sweet management fat to retire. Learn to code again, you jerks.
Hey Dan, I mean Bleak. First letter J what’s the last letter?

25% in Tech where customer facing, supply chain, warehousing is involved. Rest of tech could see ~30-35% layoffs. I was on one of the calls to discuss the cull list. I posted earlier. The list is purely based on who wants their buddies here and others gone. Meritocracy was not factored in. This is dangerous when people settle scores.
Rumor is Nordstrom has been able to cut 25% of its work force using early retirement packages for just about everyone.
