Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

Hasbro stock up, Mattel down

Hasbro won, period. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/23/coronavirus-hasbro-shares-soar-as-ceo-cites-great-demand-for-toys.html

Watch & learn how a real toy company, run by long-time toy people, with a lot of real toy EXPERIENCE shines through good and bad. Kids actually WANT Hasbro's toys. Do you see any kids clamoring for fat Barbie, man bun Ken, gender bender dolls, or Hot Wheels ID? It's game over for Mattel. Hit the road, Ynon. Take losers RD CD & JEut with you. No benefits, no bonuses!

PSA: Who is this non-English speaker who keeps reposting his same stupid questions in every thread? He's just plain annoying and his comments are useless clutter.

Sir: please go self-isolate and leave the discussion to grownups with relevant experience and pertinent comments. TIA for your cooperation. Try Youtube instead, they desperately need your valuable insight.

Rumor is huge layoffs about to happen but that it will be workers and not executives

The company currently has 2 executives with toy industry experience. I cannot believe the Board is so clueless to have allowed this to happen. New shiny executives have come into the company offering empty promises and no results. The company will have to file for bankruptcy soon. I am not holding my breath to see Ynon and his leadership team forego their salaries for the rest of the year to help the company like other companies are doing. Mattel is a heartless company and it’s now impossible to turn the company around.

So many overpaid employees not returning ROI through no fault of their own- just utter corporate excess. Sweeping organizational changes are necessary in the immediate. The business model will upend. Unrealistic for the company to maintain the present. Not going to happen.

Mattel is run by losers who will unfortunately get PAID when this sh– company goes under. The good news is, millennials and young people no longer want a** kissing “old people” (30+) running their companies. So save your pennies sh** eaters! You will not be accepted with open arms to the new world order no matter what degree you overpaid for! Oh, and in case any dip wads are reading this, I’m a sh– shoveler at the bottom so I won’t be affected either way. Now go eat some more sh–, you deserve it!
