In the last 48 hours, Hobby Lobby laid off hundreds (possibly thousands) of part-time workers & told 3,000+ warehouse workers they were cutting their pay by 10% immediately.
They're expecting their workers to shoulder the full financial burden while they turn billions in profit.
I would love to know where you got the information from since at my warehouse we were told NOTHING about a 10% decrease in pay. We were however told about a 25% decrease in pay for the 2-3 weeks we will be off, which seems MORE THAN FAIR considering they don't have to give us squat. They were forced to close down by this hysteria and are paying employees 75% of their pay to sit on their butts. Stop spreading your id–tic lies.
Where are your facts just trying to start gossip
The directive was 20% of total staff for each store still open, only part-timers. No clue about the warehouse, as they aren't letting stores know squat, beyond telling us to stop taking frame orders and there would be no more freight until further notice. This is on top of the 10% paycuts to the salaried managers.
