Thread regarding SS&C Technologies layoffs

It will be true to form for SS&C to layoff in the middle of this coronavirus

Most of us left working at health solutions are expecting to get a phone call as we work from home during this coronavirus outbreak, to inform us we are no longer needed.

Nick has the spirit. If you still get a paycheck from Ss&c don't be lazy, your getting paid so work for it. If Ss&c tells you they can no longer afford your high caliber of work then so be it. Comfort and fear is a bad combination, get rid of one or the other then you can work in peace.

This is the best time to get laid off. Get a severance pay, collect unemployment and an extra $600 from the feds.

The Senior Management of Health Solutions knows another layoff is around the corner. Maybe the people left in the Birmingham Alabama office can get Stan G. to be honest for once and share what he knows.

There is still a layoff list. Working from home right now due to the covid-19 pandemic may slow down the layoff. SS&C does not acquire companies to grow them. They have no intention of keeping and growing a company. Once they have cashed in all of the acquired companies assets they are on to their next victim. They lay people off they do not create jobs and grow companies.

If they will pay me two weeks for every year I’ve been with the company I’ll be happy to take a layoff

Shutting down Health Solutions is a major stretch. SS&C would sell it before they would just trash all the revenue and deal with hundreds of lawsuits. There is not one piece of business sense to such a decision. Now another layoff is something more possible as one never knows

So based on current information is this layoff supposed to occur beginning of April or sometime further into the month?

I heard the same thing. No one in DST Health is going to be left. Shutting it down next week. All clients will be on their own. Senior Management know.

Rumor is there is still a layoff list circulating for April even during this pandemic. Senior managers have seen it.
