Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Any Buildings Locked Down?

Any facilities in Arizona locked down due to Governor directive? We aren't a salon, for course, or hiking trail. So not essential per Governor executive order? Honeywell can't use that against you if you choose to not go in right now, right?

Honeywell will use whatever legal latitude they are given by the local government. For example, in Mexico, there has been a very lax stay-at-home policy (only suggesting people over the age of 65 stay home), so Honeywell expected employees to be in the office for that country.

In Malaysia, Honeywell was having an issue getting Aero employees to report for work - they were staying home even though there was no current mandated S-A-H restriction. There was an effort (until Singapore issued lockdown rules) to encourage employees to go to work

I guess, what I'm saying, is that if it can be perceived that Honeywell doesn't need (legally) to lock down a site, and if you have to be on-site to perform your job, they are going to require you to be there.
