Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Congress decreeded that employees on furlough do qualify for unemployment insurance.

It will depend on your state, but here's the article referencing it https://www.foxbusiness.com/money/coronavirus-unemployment-insurance-while-furloughed. Let me know if anyone gets this to work for them.

Well Whoppiey F-ing Do, "Congress decreeded".
News flash there bucky, CONGRESS decrees lots of c-ap, and Corporations routinely IGNORE it!
HLT is laughing at these posts, they get a chubby knowing id–ts are wasting their time to TRY and collect unemployment, "oh, there is something wrong with the system", "oh, it did not go thru", Yea, CAUSE YOU AIN'T GETTING IT. And, say that you successfully navigate the minefield of the process, and a check comes to you, anybody know what that check is for a week unemployment, Anybody, ANYBODY, WBA IS $240 for a Week, MAXIMUM. Yea, you are sure going to show the HLT, wasting a day or more, for a maximum benefit of $240. Also, you do realize that if you DO receive a check, HON is informed, so you are adding yourself to the RIF list. I know, But.....Wait....."They can't LEGALLY do that", yea right, your Badge does say Honeywell, since when were they ever ethical or legal.

Doesn't hurt to apply. Criteria asked if working reduced hours. Answer: yes. That's about the only question that seemed to qualify you or not.

This is currently just through July. I hope congress extends it, because we in aerospace are going to need it. Hang on tight, this is going to get much worse!
