To preface, I'm currently employed at a Lowe's and will be transferring to another store in a few weeks (had a phone interview, waiting for a call back). This time of year, we all have very little vacation time accrued. After speaking with my ASM, I was told Lowe's no longer allows employees to go into the negative when putting in vacation requests. Is this true or are they trying to screw me over?

I think the limit for negative vacation hours is 40. Contact a SSA or whatever the person in the back is called.
Go into my hr and search vacation. Should bring up the policy.
Not true, but you can only exceed it by a certain amount. Kronos has a hard cap that won’t allow it to be approved at that point but the store management can set a soft cap as well to avoid having to pay overage in the event you leave early or you/they mismanage it and get approved for too much at the end of the year
Any way I can prove this before I call my store manager out on it?
Not true!
