Congratulations CEE VP's & Directors. You've finally acheived your goal of top down management & ruling with fear. No more questions & input from those annoying OG RHatters. IBM assimilation will be complete with the virus layoffs that are sure to follow. RH is still RH? No Jim, it is not!

The techrights article http://techrights.org/2020/08/02/red-hat-layoffs/ reads as if it were written by an AI, or perhaps someone dictating (poorly) to their cell phone. If the author cannot be bothered with grammar or any sort of coherency, no one should respect their article as journalism.
@1rgl - I assume you're asking about the techrights post about layoffs? I've been in Red Hat's PnT group for a few years now, since before the IBM acquistion...
That article is b—s—. Morale is not low (85% of staff said they'd stay at RH even if offered a similar job/salary elsewhere, in the recent company survey) and on the internal company mailing list nobody has any idea what the guy is talking about, and are linking to all the crazy things he's said about Red Hat in the past.
Our revenue is growing, we have ambitious targets from IBM, and people are really happy with the way RH has handled its COVID response (over 90% favourable in the survey).
what's the inside scooop today 8/4/20 ???
No offense but this post does not even make sense.
This is not new news, unfortunately. Anyone who is employed here simply needs to look around. You have management that shields their eyes and refuses to acknowledge that anything is different. Then you have the kool aid kiddies of memo-list who will simply acquiesce with self denial.
