Hello, I filed for unemployment yesterday. I went to the website today to check the status on my claim. I went into claim weekly benefits and did not see my claim. Not even pending. Does anyone know how long it takes before it shows up. On my confirmation of application, it says I have to claim on 4/8-4/11. I'm wondering if anyone knows how long before it shows up. TY

I’ve been waiting for about three weeks now... Unemployment offices are extremely backed up due to the massive amounts of claims within the last two weeks.
If you said you filed yesterday it’s still considered weekend so it wont post till the following business day which is tomorrow. You should be able to see it then.
If you're living in New York or Florida, yes you may cry now.😭

I have tried for 5 days, calling unemployment.
Approximately 700 attempts per day
And still nothing. Can I cry now?
I have to call and verify my identity. Can’t get through so sent an email this morning. I’m supposed to request my payment on 4/14 so hopefully I can get through soon.

Every state is different! You can't ask a question like that here and expect to get an answer.
I applied on March 29, so its already been way over that. It says it should be 4 wks.
It was two days before I received an email from my state notifying my benefit. With so many new applications, it may now take longer. Watch your email.
