Thread regarding IBM layoffs

THE NEW CEO HAS BEEN SILENT FOR 2 MONTHS.

Google for "Arvind Krishna news" and the headlines are two months stale.

President Trump recently suggested Google would setup a web site for testing at Walmart parking lots. Walmart was at the press conference and agreed. Google said it never committed to anything. This is a logistical problem and a huge opportunity that IBM should grab with both hands.

This is also Krishna's hall of fame moment. He got promoted for dazzling the board with a strategy for hybrid cloud. As architect why not help the president, and put the mighty machinery that he controls to build a logistical solution the likes of which the world has never seen?

I'm actually kind of surprised he didn't blast out a company-wide email Friday afternoon and schedule an all hands call for Monday morning. Between the CEO transition and this coronavirus stuff, I'd have expected him to become increasingly visible last week. If nothing gets sent out tomorrow, it's going to be weird, like where's our CEO?

Given Ginni’s total Mismanagement of IBM’s assets and strategy, did you really expect her to take responsibility for most likely the largest reorganization of IBM. NOPE let Krishna take the arrow of biggest reorg ever. Ginni you makes us proud even till the last dance

Ginni could donate the millions in bonuses she earned when fiddling while IBM burned.

Her bonuses will provide food and shelter for the many desperate families that live paycheck to paycheck, for whom those sorely needed govt relief payments will be too little too late. Their stories are heart-wrenching.

Have a heart Ginni.

Yes, I would expect a note to come out on Monday when he takes over officially. I am sure he had a 30/60/90 day plan all laid out but would have had to throw that out of the window due to COVID 19. I now expect no major strategic announcements for growth, his primary focus would be to see the organisation through this crisis.

Arvind becomes the CEO on Monday, probably why we've been hearing from Ginni up until now. I assume we'll start hearing from Arvind next week.
