Hello all, former "colleague" here! I have been trying to get into my Merrill Lynch 401k account that I was contributing to during my time at Macys but I do not recall my password and it sends the reset link to my old macys email. Any advice on how to get in the old macys email or what is HR Services phone number?

Appreciate the acknowledgement. Merrill direct is the best way to get your password reset. Obviously, don’t forget to change the email address & sprinkle in some password reminder questions so you can bypass having to call in the future. My reading comprehension isn’t what it should have been on your question. With the announcement of bonuses being “awarded” many people would like to maximize what they get by not having 401 (k) taken out. I made an assumption that’s what you wanted to do 😁 I put those instructions together to help others, but never actually used them myself. Do let us know that you get everything worked out. It’s a difficult time, and we should all help each other when we can 😁
When I log into insite and go to total rewards , I click on 401 k and it automatically logs me in. Now you do know that no loans or withdrawals can be done until April 20, but for some reason Macy’s had the provisions to pay bonuses
I had same issue a while back. Call Merrill. They will help you get into the account. But be aware they may be on limited staff as well and call times vary.

I would call Merrill direct to get your password reset.
Once you login to Merrill:
- Scroll down to the My Accounts section
- You should see a Macy’s, Inc. 401 (k) Plan section.
- To the right of Macy’s, Inc. 401 (k) plan you should see an – “I want to” drop down
- Click on the drop down
- Select Change My Contribution Rate
- Change your Contributions appropriately
Done, the new Contribution information should be used for your bonus if you've made the cut off for processing.
