Thread regarding ADP layoffs

"Always Designing for People Elimination"

ADP is refining their latest slogan!

Anyone else think spending millions on that completely hideous new branding was a total inept use of money? Maybe perhaps instead of laying people off and hiring no talent newbies, that money could have been used more wisely!

Very good, @5rhe+14nVmQ9N! I may like that one even better than "A__hol_s Doing Payroll". I had an accountant tell me that this was what ADP stood for, way back when ADP was mostly payroll and I was young. Naturally, we had a few more definitions internally, that usually were good for grins.

They’re going to spend the money they get, just NOT on employees. You got the $1000. You’re welcome.

"A Dysfunctional Place" should be the new name for ADP.

They’re trying to hide that ADP stands for Automatic Data Processing. It’s an old term but it’s what ADP does. I think this “new” branding is awful I’m sure eliminating my salary went towards paying for it.

I haven't liked the motto from the start. ADP has been doing a lot of radio advertising, unfortunately on stations I listen to. I always wonder "designing what" and "for who"?

My experience taught me that they had designs on reducing experience and wages and those on the pension plan, so I guess the design was to cut experienced employees and the who was me. :)

Best wishes to anyone affected. There is life after ADP.

Like during the fall of the Roman Empire, wacky things started to happen that reasonable people would not do. It seems to be the same for ADP as it lurches in one wacky direction and then another. A loss of sense and credibility which increases its downward spiral.

That was the worst most nauseating re-branidng of anything I have ever see, seriously. To this day I still can't believe someone got paid a lot of money for that pile of c-ap. Just horrible design and a horrible decision on some marketing execs part to go with it.

I've been with ADP for 17 years and this is the fourth re-branding. Clients have asked me...."How much does that cost?" ...again. By the end of last summer, there was a realization that new stationary, billboards and radio commercials did not result in new business. A few of the narcissists have left in the past few months.....but so have a lot of clients, unfortunately. Note to self: Just because you repaint the car, doesn't mean anyone wants to buy it.

LOL! Yes, very accurate if they did change it to that.

I did see the new branding when it came out. It was indeed awful. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind designing something like that.
