This board is pretty silent, but there have been lots of layoffs here.

According to Bill Thomas, “We've had no layoffs, no office closures." Except the hundreds of “contractors” they laid off using the “our 1099 employees are contractors not employees” loophole. I’d be pretty hesitant to be optimistic. They’re running us ragged out in the field, we’re short-handed, but at least you’re guaranteed to have a job right up till the second you’re let go with no warning!
Any updates on EOG lay-off?
All contractors so far, some in mid March, the rest at the beginning of May. Every contractor in Montana/North Dakota, most or all contractors in other states. No employees laid off yet, but there's talk of furloughing them.
I think contractors, but they seem the same as employees.
Contractor or company? Big difference.
