Historically, they’ve done a lot of the bulk layoffs (at least on management side) a couple days prior to the earnings release. Earnings release is next Thursday, April 23. Prayerfully no cuts are done right now, but based on Lances answers at the most recent townhall, some may be coming.

Of course the yard will be there forever. Unless they dig a hole to China.

I say 10 percent cut each shop for machinist and none for sparkys. I bet North Platte doesnt get touched this quarter. I see great numbers coming out that shop. And Vena even said Baily yard will be there forever!

There’s a cost benefit to waiting.

It’s gonna happen before even then. Watch and see. Managers and agreement both. If anything this has shown how we have too many managers. All these managers quarantined or confirmed covid and still work gets done. Means we don’t need them

The cuts will happen state by state after they are “allowed” to reopen.
