I think it makes a difference. My team has 3 weeks of vacation. We all said we will try to take 5-6 weeks if we get manager approval

New open vacation policy next year aka unlimited PTO honestly doesn’t change much. Almost nobody actually used all of their PTO with the current plan and iCIMS doesn’t pay out when you leave so this won’t really impact many people in a positive or negative way. It’s just a way for them to say they’re making things better for employees while continuing to screw us in the background.

I guess we're no longer owed anything

First quarterly without the simple equation

Post ID: @sxre+14v0R2bY

Lol relax. If it's the same policy as everyone other company that does it, then it's unlimited as long as the manager approves it

There were little to no details about it. Why you talking out your @$$.

Depending on your manager, the open vacation policy is pretty good.

Long term incentive only for top 25 percent? That's lame af

Engineers in labs don't get bonuses. Maybe managers, directors, and architects get them.

Bonuses were annual at some point and yes it's true. This is a 20 year old company you've said you've only been there three so how do you know the entire history - are you HR snooping on here with that visibility?

by

Post ID: @skbg+14v0R2bY

This is just untrue. I know bonuses were paid out the past 3 years since that’s how long I was there. At most the year end bonus (bonuses were paid out quarterly) was cut by 10-15% based on company performance. Manager level is still guaranteed 75% of there total yearly bonus.

“If you think this then you've luckily never had to experience being promoted and had the promotion increase go towards your bonus that was never paid out because the company didn't hit their left 30% growth goals.”

I must have missed that. Did they say what department would be on that floor?

by

Post ID: @rlyv+14v0R2bY

The 5th floor was scheduled be opened later this year but they sc-apped that plan. That was just announced on the last town hall.

The 5th floor? You mean the fourth floor with labs? Because 5th floor has nothing on it

by

They have said they are not reopening the 5th floor. Knew that was coming from the survey. I bet they consolidate most other floors as well.

Adding reviews and removing negative ones that give too many of their dirty details away about how things are really operating. They'll continue to add to get Steve's rating back up so they can continue to do social posts about how they have a top rated executive. eyeroll this way they can go into town halls and say see not everyone feels negative! We've heard your positive reviews too!

Is this confirmed or just a prediction?

"removal of merit increases "

by

Post ID: @pxky+14v0R2bY

It's pretty well known there was stack ranking done in Labs sometime in March. Managers we're not told how the information would be used. Is it safe to assume the same was done in CSM and Support?

“Im really excited for quarterly meeting but I know the surprise they were talking about is probably lame af”

I wouldn’t be too excited, anything they mention as being a positive for employees with have a much bigger negative impact that they likely won’t announce. Likely announcements are some sort of stock options, increase in PTO rollover or “unlimited” PTO, more permanent flexible(remote) work opportunities and potential acquisition updates. The downsides will be the removal of merit increases despite our salaries already being way below market, removal of amenities that have become expected of iCIMS and much more micromanaging despite leadership being completely out of touch with it’s employees. Welcome to the Gongshow.

The CTO isn't the person mentioned here. The SVP of Services is exiting end of month. He didn't bring anything to the table anyway. They removed the only competent senior leader in services during the 4/15 m—acre.

Interesting to sit here and watch this unfold. There are a lot of things being changed. This tells me either the original C team was not aligned with the new owners or the new owners were not transparent with them about their plans once C-Day stepped back.
