RE: Manager's only meeting to ask questions about layoffs
Sounds like another fired-up pep talk or sadistic game show for identifying the next contestants for terminations.
Someone should really track the managers that submit complaints, criticisms or tough questions against the number actual days until they leave the company.
Well, let us enjoy the game show and don't be afraid to Press Your Luck!
No whammies, no whammies, no whammies...Steve :(
Cpo instead of coo as in chief people officer *
I hope someone asks why the ceo and coo ended the townhall after someone asked a question about the daughter
Why have that meeting 15 days after the layoffs occurred?
There's a manager's only town hall to discuss the layoffs where they will take questions. Why are they not inviting the entire company to ask questions?
Anything mentioning the daughter is great
Some of the glassdoor reviews are so funny lol
It's still way too high lol
Ceo glassdoor rating finally updated
When Steve gave us those iCIMS school bags, I didn’t know it was for me to pack my sh–!
F this company
The problem is we know it’s confusing and that’s why it takes so long to work on issues supporting the system but the new execs don’t.
I doubt they will move tech support to India. Our software is confusing enough. Also, our customers would not accept this. I can see possibly them mistreating candidate calls. lol.
Given the amount of people they laid off in tech support, I'm confident that is next. I know a lot of people left in that department are actively looking because of what happened.
Surprised they are only outsourcing labs. Tech support would be really easy to outsource
No, there are many design agencies, They outsourced some development to there too.
I feel like engineers are easier to outsource than UX but idk
UX work was outsourced. Only designers were spared and one UX architect to work with the outsourced company that al brought in.
Without having inside knowledge of the UX teams, it seems like they were axed so they can outsource that work to the new Hyderabad office
I worked with UX some worked really good. Some that stayed deserved to be let go
Product managers always had a problem so the work was never done.
Why did they get rid of most of UX?
There were managers, senior managers and directors let go on the services side that are going to have seriously negative impacts for our customers. Some great people were let go from services.
In labs, a few managers were let go. Idk about other departments
It's incredible how many people who kept their jobs are sharing how "iCIMS is coming together to connect professionals with job opps".... Seems completely two faced to every employee that has ever walked through those doors.
They should’ve gotten rid of some managers too. Some used this as an opportunity to get rid of good performers who didn’t conform.
What were they supposed to do? Rate everyone evenly or not give the list?
Why wouldn’t you blame the managers? They were asked to make a list of best to worst, whatd they think was gonna happen?
Office is going to be empty when we go back
Nah we are definitely keeping the other floors.
I think we are going to be remote from now on, release the 2-5 floors and keep the first just so we are still have a HQ.
Weren’t we on a hiring freeze? How can we afford a coo when we had a major layoff?
I read the article that said they were deciding between Arizona and nj if they didn't get the credit lmao
Yea. If you look at other vista companies, they shut down offices in expensive area and move to Texas and india.
Vista probably will sell the company before the credit is up.
Yep, it was a 10 year tax credit if they kept headquarters in New Jersey. That's what allowed them to move into Bell Works. I think they have 6-7 years left of the tax credit before Vista fully folds up that shop.
Remember when iCIMS for a 38 million dollar tax break to "stay" in NJ a few years ago?
What a useless townhall
Spend more time on LinkedIn *
Free to do what? Spend more to on LinkedIn?
They are adding a chief of ops position May 18th. Is that to free up the CEO’s time?
They made chat only viewable by panelists. Worried about another daughter question lmao
