Nutanix hs been struggling since mid 2018 , when they decoupled hardware and software.
Since just focusing only on Software sales - it become apparent to end users that its not a solution. Most end user IT are looking for appliance technology - packaged with tight integration of hardware and software. This assures a bullet proof solution , easily to manage, upgrade and application are validated on the platform.
Nutanix company has had its best days - In canada they hire dead wood from EMC-Dell another bad decision for its customers.
Making people take a week off is a bit different than taking their laptops, access cards, and firing them as in happening in plenty of other companies in the industry - including Dell.
The LinkedIn job postings are all on freeze and many duplicated. They don’t have open positions. They are just leaving them up to collect good cv and not look bad. Furlough starts on Monday for everyone, also hearing large lay-off is coming.
all the while there's numerous posts on Linkedin about how they're hiring!
