Once the COVID19 panic is behind us, the company will realize just how many of the folks who have been charging PTO or "working from home" it can do without.

Many of Dump's uneducated bootlickers were enraged by the work at home policy.
The folks working so hard "from home" won't appreciate this post, but I can tell you that I'm quite sure that this policy gets abused a lot. Seen it too many times. People use their PTO until the bucket is dry and then find the need to be out of the office, but don't worry... they are still productive.
Uh huh.
RIFs happening right now.
I heard a unicorn is going to fly through the building with Santa. Anyone know anything about this?
All aviation companies are the same...both military and commercial...
I wonder how many a Waco are going to be cut loose?
As an employee of the CAS Sector, I can tell you that furloughs are in full effect starting Monday. We are alternating weeks to ensure staffing and support to our customers.
Our Executive leadership has confirmed that RIF will be coming as well. Our particular sector has been hit extremely hard as we service more commercial aviation than military.
Based on the decisions being made at the executive level, I am thinking that more is going on than just COVID-19. I don’t care to elaborate, but I personally think L3Harris will come out of COVID-19 a whole different company, our sector in particular as well.
Corporate is quietly preparing phased RIF's. Managers are submitting their hit lists.
Expect upcoming DEEP lay-off's that will focus primarily on legacy L3 employees who will be replaced with contract temps at twice the cost and with weekend overtime pay. Been going on for months.
Work has moved forward in Mason for the Brashear move - though the facility is violating every "social distancing" requirement to do so as labs are consolidated and employee lockers are moved from break rooms to hallways to make room for more "office space". It will be interesting to see where they squeeze everything in - still no high bay crane installed which we were told was a requirement - so things may be delayed. Anyone know where the Wescam Service Center is going?
Can confirm that temporary and permanent layoffs will occur for commercial aviation. Announcement was this week.
Heard that furloughs and RIFs would be occurring on the commercial side soon. Anyone else heard these rumors?
