N95 masks to protect HON employees and families

(Previous HON employee) - Has HON provided any opportunities to protects its employees and immediate family members with N95 masks that they produce? It was a welcome change to see the company I moved to offer this to its employees and family members.

They are supplying masks if your work won't let you maintain the 6ft social distancing. Your boss has to select you as eligible to get up to 2 masks per day. Result = Not many "qualify" to receive a mask at work. Typical cheap asses when it comes to the employees...

@uzv, good point. But if you're working on floor and not maintaining separation, would that violate AZ or other state mandates? Seems like masks would be a requirement

@lfr: Unfortunately, there are a large number of us shop floor "hands on" workers that cannot work from home.

Masks? Are you kidding? It would cut into profit, so no, they are not supplying masks to us. They are already giving us the largest benefit......allowing temporary work from home! Who needs masks then!

My Current employer is providing an entire kit for the family. Mask, thermometer, gloves etc. Oh and no furloughs or layoffs.
