Employees were informed this morning that all IT furloughs have transitioned to terminations as of April 30th. I applaud the team for notifying us a bit early and allow us to move on, but also surprised that with the companies great reach to diversify their spending could preserve employees first.

More people furloughed today 5/1. Allegedly it’s for eight weeks of furlough and they are planned on being brought back.
Can anyone hourly confirm that your severance was 2 weeks per year of service without the furlough pay subtracted? I’ve heard this. As a salaried Employee, my 2 weeks of furlough pay at the beginning of March was subtracted from my Overall severance amount for years of service. Thanks.
There were over 300 ppl on my call on Wed. There were 3 meeting on Wed, and 1 on Thursday. They had 1 on Tuesday for Level 2 employees. Chrissy Taylor is a joke and doesn't have a clue what she is doing. As many men that were let go the women were 3x as many especially in the WFH supervisors roll.
I’m starting to hear stories of them sacrificing people who were originally safe for people they like who were originally on the furlough/lay-off list. Then the saved person was moved to another department/campus to take the spot of the “safe” person.
I work in the work from home customer care contact center and was terminated today by phone. Told I would be eligible for rehire. This was 4th year and my metrics were always good. Good luck everyone...very cold hearted and done poorly.
Zoom Meeting was cold blooded.One department manager did all the talking, pretty much don't let the door hit you on the way out. When she ended the meeting they thought they had disconnected BUT all the managers were like better them then us. Jack Taylor is turning in his grave.10 plus years with Enterprise didn't matter.SAD DAY What ever happened to company loyalty and we listen to our employees.
Yes customer service/ reservation agents. Tech and escalations teams. DRU. Basically if you have been there long, it doesn’t matter. Started my 7th year this month and was furloughed for two weeks then permanently terminated. Youll go to a brief meeting where they say “they company isn’t doing well...bye.” And that’s it! You’ll get a package in the mail about cobra and unemployment
I’m in daily rental and was laid off. Area managers were laid off too

And I like how they just tell you the decision about who was getting picked was fair and just but won’t tell you the process they used to pick who got furloughed and then let go.

The jerk use these downturns to get rid of older more expensive employees. They did it in 2008 and were sued for age discrimination. Enterprise settled on that. What would you expect from a company ran by the Taylor's, ex repo people.
