This entire situation is insane. Millions of people sitting at home everyday being paid approx $1,000 each week while some us in retail, grocery, health care workers, etc are going to work and making less. How in the world did someone come up with this being a good idea. Talk about a morale k–ler.

Many are outraged by this,..so unfair!!!!
It's the age of entitlement. Where nothing is anyone's fault, everyone has some kind of condition or affliction or disorder. Of course they should have made smoking pot and gambling and a growing list of other vices completely legal, should have done that yeeeears ago.
Bad is good and good is liable. Smart and hard working is weak and stupid. So sit on your a$$, smoke some more grass, collect unemployment, COVID checks and all the govt assistance money you can, because, hey, you didn't ask to be born! Somebody somewhere OWES YOU.
And people wonder why I dream of building a rocket ship and getting out of here......

Academics that veer left are to blame.
They will have to pay taxes on the money, state (where they have state income tax) as well as federal.
This was a bipartisan bill. Republicans are responsible for it as much as Democrats.

This was a democratic shut down, they like to give away free stuff. So if you’re smart enough to sign up and get your thousand dollars a week go for it. It’s all about destroying the economy, wake up people. Now they want to borrow 3 trillion more with more pork and stupid stuff and not helping the people that need help like the essential workers. So if you want more of this vote Democratic.
It's a wage problem in America; Walmart (companies) like low wages.
I’d never want someone to go without food, electric, etc but for someone to be sitting at home and making more than those of us working is ridiculous. I really can’t imagine any argument that could justify that this makes sense.
You should remember there are people out there that have it a lot worse then you do.
Keep in mind - they are not paying taxes on that money too
Those people now have extra money to spend at the stores.
