what is going on with maintenance is see their not back in my store yet.

Maintenance/trades was NOT returned to work in our store. All installations was done by managers prior to reopening.
I know first hand that the maintenance team is out and helping to install safety measures in the stores that are opening. Your situation could be different... but they are helping get Macy's back to business where the states/county allow for reopening safely.
Do you mean the trades people (carpenters, painters, engineers) or housekeeping? Most of the trades people are still out on furlough and only called in when absolutely needed. Housekeeping was cut due to the hours change
They probably do not feel safe. Their coffee cups may have covid dust in them.
