If I’m laid off, will the company still pay me for my vacation and sick time that I never took? I still haven’t heard when/if I’m returning just asking in case I find out that I’m let go sometime soon.

I'm on furlough and I'm accruing PTO (vacation time). I'm part of NAD so if you part of contract and you're furloughed you'd be accruing vacation (PTO). If you are laid off you will be paid for the PTO that you have accrued.
sounds like you are furloughed and not laid off right now. you do not accrue vacation time during your furlough so depending on when that happened whatever you had built up for vacation time you will get paid for plus severance if you are a full time employee. sick time (PTO) has no monetary value to it. If/when you do get laid off you will be given all of the correct information in a package from HR with ample opportunity to ask questions. Don't use the internet or this blog to speculate on what you will get because rules vary from company to company within staples and severance and UI differ from state to state. Good luck.
generally no, that is not paid...
They should pay me for the sick time, the place got me sick and gave me COVID right before I was furloughed
Not sure about unused sick time.
But they will pay you on any unused vacation (or PTO).
