Larger store can’t afford not having a APM to manage the team, audits, shortage strategy, employee cases, shoplifting, etc. Rumor is that APM will stay in larger stores. Not sure on stores with more than one APM.

I heard from my VPSM that only larger stores will have APM’s otherwise AP reports to VPSM, no idea on threshold but the surrounding stores that were mentioned were 60m+ a year.
AP is going to die a slow death, VSO’s like Target is the trend. AP doesn’t stop enough theft and not worth the liability with lawsuits etc.
