I know HLE business is picking up everywhere but cuts are still happening across the board with some ZGMs recently getting cut. Anyone know what the long term game plan is? I know barely anybody is left in Estero so who is left making the decisions? Is state farm even going to keep their contract at this point?

State farm is over in September. Most shops are already moving customers to Erac. Almost none coming in for reservations. Locations that are open are so short staffed it's a joke bring open. 1 person to clean pick up and rent cars while other employees are doing party city. Short staffed and over worked will be the end.
Cutting cost is a top priority! Closing HLE locations fastest way to make that happen.
Additional planned closures will continue and more roles will be eliminated. The scope of work for each role will continue to change. It was determined there is no need for the ZGM role which I agree there was never a need for that extra layer between GM and VP. Look for additional consolidation between HLE and AP operations. Sorry to see ZGM's go away most of them all 15+ year employees.
We are getting prepared for a 400 store mass closure. Who needs ZGMs
