Well this happened to me many years ago with Sprint,, hope those of you who are retirement age get what you so deserve. Do not look back. noboby is taking your side one this. Remember, they always say, it is what is good for the company. In other words screw all the dedicated employees that helped the them to this position.
to echo those thoughts, I would say, unless you're an executive level employee, GET OUT. Whether or not they offer a package, it is better and the grass is way greener anywhere that isn't Sprint. Sprint is/was always feast to famine on job security. It's not going to be better now that T-Mobile is the parent and can strip Sprint of the assets and discard the rest, like a s***y equity firm. It's not going to end well for those in yellow. It just won't. Good luck everyone. I don't miss the company but I miss and care deeply for the people still there and trying to make it through this tough time.
